You Can Take Your Furry Friend Ubering With You Thanks To Uber Pet
Pet-friendly Uber? Yes please!
If you're a pet owner you'll be all too familiar with that sinking feeling you get when your furry friend gives you sad eyes as you leave the house.
Leaving them behind looking all lonely while you go out for the day is never easy.
How can you say no to that face?
Well, you won't have to any longer thanks to Uber Pet. Yep, rideshare service Uber has launched a pet friendly service that allows customers to bring their pets along for the ride, no matter the animal.
“All household pets are accepted on rides, including turtles and hamsters, as well as caged birds and fish in bowls or bags,” Uber said in a statement.
“Riders can bring more than one animal at the driver’s discretion.”
Imagine the look on your Uber driver's face when you rock up with your pet horse in tow.

Of course, the drivers still have all the power. If they don't want a particular animal in their car or have allergies, they can choose to opt out of the Uber Pet function.
Uber Pet will also cost you more - an extra $US3-5 to be exact. A small price to pay to have your puppy with you, if you ask us.
The feature has begun a trial in Austin, Denver, Nashville, Minneapolis-St.Paul, Philadelphia, Phoenix and Tampa Bay over in the US.
If it’s successful, hopefully Uber Pet will make its way Down Under soon!
