90s kids! There's still a 'Lost Forests' store in Melbourne!

Puggles, you guys!

If you grew up in the 90s you almost certainly either went to a Lost Forests store, hoped to go to a Lost Forests store, or begged to be taken to a Lost Forests store, because you wanted to get your hands on one of those super cute, super cuddly Puggles, and you wanted it now.

The books were all about rainforests and fantasy, and at ther peak, the 18 Lost Forests stores in Australia were an amazing place to immerse yourself in stories, have a birthday party, and, if you were lucky, grab yourself a Puggle to adopt.

Sadly, the recession in the 90s forced the closure of most of the stores, but one shining beacon of Puggley rainforesty goodness sits in the sparkling new outdoor mall that is District Docklands, and yes, they still make and sell Puggles.

Think your kids are too hardcore for Puggles? Take story time next level and have it on the Melbourne Star! (They'll be adopting theirs at the end, once they realise what they're missing...)

Head to Lost Forests, District Docklands, Level 1, 5 Star Crescent, Docklands. Open Daily from 10am - 6pm.
