“If you asked me today, I would say absolutely not!”

Back in 2007, Kate Ritchie appeared on season two of Channel 7's celebrity singing show 'It Takes Two' hosted by Grant Denyer.

Grant popped in to the Nova studios to play Kate in Quick Draw, and brought up their time on the show together over ten years ago.

Watch baby-faced Grant introduce Kate and her singing partner, Troy Cassar-Daly, to the stage to sing 'You're The One That I Want' from Grease.

Grant jumped straight into the It Takes Two chat as soon as he got through the door:

“It’s good to see you darl, how are you?” Grant said.

“There’s two things I love in this world: one is making game shows, the other is watching you sing and you know that's the last time you and I work [sic] together!”

They relived the moments by playing some audio grabs from the show.

“Who was that child!” Kate said.

“You sounded like you were thirteen,” Grant said.

Watch the guys relive it below!

They also talked about why Kate said ‘yes’ in the first place…

“Kate, we always talk about who was the person that said 'yes' to doing that show?," Marty asked. "Because that's not the Kate Ritchie we know or have ever met!”

“Like if you asked me today, I would say absolutely not!” Kate said.

Unfortunately we won’t be hearing Kate sing on our TV screens anytime soon, but you can watch her play Quick Draw against Grant Denyer in the video below!
