Cheaper tickets please!

There’s nothing worse than trying to get tickets for your favourite band and finding the concert’s sold out BUT they’re available on reselling site for enormous prices.

Talking to Fitzy & Wippa this morning, Opposition Leader Bill Shorten told the team about the Labor Party’s new plan to make your tickets cheaper.

The opposition has promised $28 million will go towards music programs includes education, live music and plans to prevent ticket scalping.

It involves putting a cap on what resellers can charge as well as a ban on “bot software” so scalpers can’t rapidly purchase a whole bunch of tickets.
