We couldn't love this more.

Fans have been treated to a pretty damn exciting update on the production of The Lion King remake this week, thanks to an interview with Billy Eichner.

The Parks and Recreation actor appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and revealed that Beyoncé will be singing the track 'Can You Feel the Love Tonight' for the film.

The iconic tune, which was written by Elton John and Tim Rice for the original Disney flick, will also feature Seth Rogen, Donald Glover and Eichner himself.

"I play Timon, and Timon and Pumbaa start singing 'Can You Feel the Love Tonight,' and then it segues into Beyoncé and Donald Glover singing it," he said during the interview.

Eichner also touched on the confusion around the film's classification as "live-action", stating that "Disney calls it live-action. I don't want to step on their toes... it is an animated movie."

"I personally don't see it as live-action. It is hyper-realistic animation and I've seen parts of it and it is gorgeous."

In any case, from what we've seen and heard so far it looks like this production is shaping up to be pretty spectacular and we are incredibly hyped for its release.
