Terry Crews calls out Kevin Hart for his recent unapologetic behaviour

"The truth is, Kevin, you're not being attacked."

It hasn't been an easy few weeks for ol' Kevin Hart

First he was announced as host for the 2019 Oscars, only to step down a mere two days later amid a wave of backlash after the internet dug up a heap of anti-gay tweets from his account.

The actor has since had his share of defenders and critics, even as Kevin himself remained unapologetic about everything that went on.

Now another person has stepped in to express their disappointment in Kevin for his behaviour in this whole debacle - Terry Crews.

Speaking to Buzzfeed, Terry expressed his disappointment over how Kevin - who is a good buddy of his - handled all the backlash over his old anti-gay tweets.

"He feels like he's being attacked. But the truth is, he's not.

"The truth is, Kevin, you're not being attacked. The truth is you have to just acknowledge what went on and acknowledge the pain of other people. That’s all anybody's asking for. That's it."

This comes a month after Terry expressed his thoughts about the controversy and how he expected Kevin to "come back" from the whole debacle.

"We do have to admit our guilt and say, ‘Hey, I messed up and let’s fix this thing,’

"I think that he will do that, and he has always done that.”

Well you know you dun goofed when even a beloved friend of yours calls you out and says "hey, you handled this poorly."

Whether Kevin will listen to Terry remains up in the air - though we hope he does because Terry is a saint - but one thing's for sure, there is zero chance he is hosting the 2019 Oscars now.
