Sophie Monk’s shock Bachelorette elimination move that stunned Australia
Australia gawked in bemusement last night as Sophie Monk mixed up the rose ceremony last night.
If you watched the Bachelorette last night, you’ll probably have been sitting there gawking in bemusement wondering what on earth Sophie Monk was doing, in a never-before-done rose ceremony.
Sophie had one rose remaining, and three bachelors fighting for it.
Blake, AJ and Sam.
Before handing down her final decision, she forced the four men holding a rose to leave the ceremony room.
The general consensus - echoed by Blake:
“What the f*** is happening?”
Soph then dismissed AJ.
“AJ, this rose isn’t for you.”
She then put the final rose down, walked over to Sam and Blake and asked questioned them both.
It became quite clear that Sophie had not yet made up her mind about these two.
“Do I know the real you, Sam?”
The cocky voice over artist’s response was solid -
“You do. But there's a lot more.”
She then turned to Blake and questioned whether he was actually even keen on her.
The guy put his “heart” on a plate for her.
“I messed up. But you're amazing. And... I don't want to go home. Like, I already see you and me together. I fell for you.
“All I want to do is take care of you. And, like, I would take a bullet and do whatever I have to.”
After this moment, it was pretty clear who was going home.
Monk handed the final rose to Blake, leaving Sam shocked and devastated.
Perhaps he needs to get his arrogance in check for future reference.
