Reports the Queen has made Meghan an offer she's never made to Kate

Well, this is new.

Can you say CA-UUUUTE?

It is being reported Meghan Markle's mother, Doria Ragland may be invited to Sandringham to spend Christmas with the Queen and royal family.

Doria was the only member of Markle's family to attend the royal wedding in May and it is reported the invitation is a 'mark of her respect' for the Duchess.

The Sunday Express has reported a source said it was a "very thoughtful gesture" for the Queen to do for Ragland.

It would be a rare and unusual decision if it is true as Kate Middleton's family has not been invited to stay at Sandringham.

The Duchess of Cambridge's family has joined the royals at church on Christmas morning but the Daily Mail reports they stayed at nearby Anmer Hall rather than Sandringham itself.

The publication reports a spokesperson for Buckingham Palace declined to comment.

During Meghan's wedding to Prince Harry earlier this year, Ragland owned Kensington Palace when she attended the ceremony by herself and fit seamlessly into the sea of royals and celebrities present.

Oprah Winfrey copped a lot of backlash for apparently "showering" Ragland with gifts in order to get an interview before the wedding.

However, Oprah cleaned up those rumours:

“The story was that Meghan’s mom had come to my house and she left laden with gifts.

“You know what the gifts were? First of all, she’s great at yoga, so I said, ‘Bring your yoga mat and your sneaks in case we just want to do yoga on the lawn.’

“So one of the bags was a yoga mat and the other was lunch.”
