PSA: A Grease Prequel Is Coming And Tell Me About It Stud
Grab your leather jackets and hair gel.
Pink Ladies and T-Birds, it's time to get back together “like rama lama lama ka dinga da dinga dong," because Grease is coming back.
Cool your jets, it's not going to be another sequel... but while we’re on the topic we should take a minute to remember the disaster of Grease 2.
This film is going to be a PREquel and you know what? There are worse things they could do.
According to ET, Aladdin screenwriter John August has been tapped to write a lead-up to the ICONIC 1978 film for Paramount Pictures.
The film titled Summer Loving will look at Sandy and Danny's cute meeting on the beach and their subsequent romantic summer fling before Sandy and her family move back to Australia.
But as we all know, they don't head back Down Under and Sandy ends up hand jiving at Rydell High.
Summer Loving comes after Fox aired a live version of Grease starring Julianne Hough, Aaron Tveit and Vanessa Hudgens in 2016.
The broadcast was watched by more than 12 million people and went on to win a whopping five Emmys.
It looks like we’re hopelessly devoted to Grease.
