This Pic Of The Spice Girls During Rehearsals Makes Us Nostalgic AF

Stop right now!

It's hard to write this through the tears of nostalgia streaming down my face.

Clips of the Spice Girls during rehearsals for their upcoming tour have surfaced and suddenly we’re right back to our bedroom dancing to the mirror with a hairbrush.

Look how happy they all are! Never give up on the good times girls.

The clips come after the ~that~ controversy a few weeks back, when Melanie “Mel B” Brown claimed she and Geri Halliwell Horner slept together back in the day.

The story (which could have ‘stayed‘ on tour’, if ya know what we mean) surfaced during Mel B’s chat with Piers Morgan for his Life Stories TV series:

"She is going to hate me for this because she is all posh with her country house and her husband, but it’s a fact,” Mel told Piers.

"But it wasn’t a thing, it just happened and we just giggled at it and that was it."

Horner responded with a statement to Daily Mail - well, her reps did - and she's not too happy. In fact, she labels Mel B's story false and “hurtful”:

"It has been very disappointing to read about all these rumours again, especially on Mother’s Day of all days.

"Geri loves the Spice Girls: Emma, Melanie, Melanie and Victoria. She would like [the fans] to know that what has been reported recently is simply not true and has been very hurtful to her family."

The world held their collective breath over the future of the tour, but we’ve been reassured by Bunton that the show will go on.

“Of course, we are starting rehearsals on Monday. It’s all fine,” Bunton said during her appearance on the UK’s Jonathan Ross Show.

“We have all chatted about it. Listen, we had fun back in the day. I didn’t know anything else but you know, we are all good,” she continued, adding, “We all know each other’s characters so well that we deal with each other in different ways, we have different friendships, so we work really well together.”

Turns out friendship does last forever.

The ‘90s legendary pop group announced in November 2018 that they will embark on a stadium tour in 2019 minus Posh Spice, due to her other business commitments.

The tour kicks off in Dublin, Ireland, on 24 May.
