Meghan Markle reportedly 'miserable' in her role as Duchess of Sussex

Oh dear...

Meghan Markle has been making headline after headline - some positive and some negative - ever since she became part of the Royal family and apparently it's all been taking a toll on her.

According to US Weekly (via The Sun), Meghan is reportedly "stressed" and "miserable" in her new role as the Duchess of Sussex, and she is struggling to cope with the public scrutiny and the endless avalanche of rumours about the supposed rift between her and Kate Middleton.

Between the recent report that Meghan is supposedly frustrated with the palace to now this, it's really all piling up.

There's only one gif appropriate for something like this:

A source speaking to the publication says that the Duchess is "definitely bothered" by the recent slew of rumours (such as texting staff at 5AM), as well as reports painting her as a social climber, such as a recent profile piece from Vanity Fair that claimed Meghan is "not a person you can actually be friends with."

The source says that Meghan is finding the combination of reports and being pregnant very stressful:

"Meghan has so much on her plate, between being pregnant and dealing with the public backlash and she's finding the whole situation incredibly stressful."

This has had a trickle down effect on Prince Harry, who is reportedly feeling "responsible" for Meghan being miserable and is "frustrated" at not being able to protect her from the scrutiny.

Public life ain't easy and let's hope that this is nothing more than one of those many rumours surrounding Meghan.
