Matthew Perry’s bizarre TV appearance has people worried
Former Friends star Matthew Perry has sparked concerns amongst Friends fans, family and mates after what is being labelled as a “bizarre” TV appearance over the weekend.
Matthew Perry has been making headlines over the last week or so, after knocking back a entire-cast Friends reunion - but that’s not why fans are so concerned.
Dropping in for a visit on the Graham Norton show, fans expressed shock at the 46-year-old’s appearance.
People on social media were quick to point out his seemingly slurred speech and nasal sounding voice.
A lot of fans couldn’t actually put their finger on what was wrong, just that something wasn’t right.
One fan took to Twitter to express their concern - “Something strange with Matthew’s face and the way he’s talking.”
Twitter user Fay Capstick said: “It is me or does Matthew Perry look/sound like’s suffered a stroke?”
Perry recently dissolved fans’ hopes after turning down the opportunity to get involved in a Friends reunion, citing his West End play The End Of Longing as the excuse.
“It’s not the reunion everyone is hoping for. They are celebrating Jim Burrows who was a director of Friends,” he said. “The other five are going to be on this special and I am going to introduce them from London. I’m doing the play here so I can’t be there.”
