Gwyneth Paltrow marries Brad Falchuk in star-studded Hamptons ceremony
Gwyneth Paltrow has married Hollywood producer Brad Falchuk at her mansion on Long Island, New York.
The ceremony took place inside three large white tents erected on the property, shielding the celeb-studded affair from public view.
Celeb pals on the guest list included Robert Downey Jr, Steven Spielberg and Benji Madden.
Gwyneth’s children Apple, 14, and Moses, 12, were in attendance, but their father, Gwyneth’s ex Chris Martin, was conspicuously absent.
The Coldplay frontman, who ‘consciously uncoupled’ with Gwyneth in 2013 after 10 years of marriage, was attending the Global Citizen ceremony in New York.
Gwyneth, 46, and Brad, 47, dated for three years after meeting on the set of Glee, where Gwyneth was a guest star. They announced their engagement on the cover of Goop Magazine. Of course.
Inside the mag, Gwyneth called him the “man I was meant to be with.”
“Personally, at midlife, I have tried to accept how complex romantic love can be.
“I have decided to give it a go again, not only because I believe I have found the man I was meant to be with, but because I have accepted the soul-stretching, pattern-breaking opportunities that (terrifyingly) are made possible by intimacy.”
She told People magazine this would be her first wedding - as she eloped with Chris Martin back in 2003 and never had a big shindig.
“I’m excited about everything, I’ve never had a wedding before. So even though I’m 45, I sort of feel like a 21-year-old.”
