Gogglebox stars headed into the jungle for I'm A Celeb

Wonder how they will react to this?

We're officially into the new year, which means it's nearly time for another journey into the literal jungle that is I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

Rhonda Burchmore and Married At First Sight's Nasser Sultan are both rumoured to be on the 2019 season, however we can now confirm that two Aussie TV stars are officially on the line up!

Hint, Gogglebox Australia fans are gonna be happy.

Network Ten has revealed (via news.com.au) that former Gogglebox cast members Angie Kent and Yvie Jones will be two of the campmates on the popular reality show.

Angie was stoked to join I'm A Celeb, saying:

“I am a massive fan of watching celebrities do absurd things in the jungle but I never thought I would be one of those people doing it.

“I cannot wait to get up close and personal with Lady JMO and Dr Chris!”

Yvie was also similarly excited to get down and dirty in the jungle:

“I cannot believe we have spent four seasons watching, laughing and commentating on this show from inside our living room and now we will be the ones being laughed at!”

The irony isn't lost on us either, Yvie!

With the pair teaming up again for I'm A Celeb, it seems like recent reports that the ex-Gogglebox pair are feuding are a little premature and inaccurate.

In addition to Angie and Yvie, Ten has also dropped a big clue regarding another campmate.

“From breaking headlines, to making headlines, we are sending an infamous newsreader on their toughest assignment yet. No stranger to war torn regions, this veteran journalist has been in the firing line in more ways than one after an on-air gaffe left them squarely in the naughty corner.”

Hmmm, that sounds awfully like Natasha Exelby, the infamous news presenter who was the centre of an on-air gaffe that went viral a couple of years ago.

You know, this moment:

We certainly won't have long to wait before we find out the full line up of this season's I'm A Celeb because it returns to our TV screens on Sunday, January 13 at 7:30pm on Channel Ten.
