Emilia Clark Named And Shamed The Game Of Thrones Coffee Cup Culprit And The Betrayal Is Too Much
We’re not surprised at this.
The Game of Thrones coffee cup culprit has become like an intense game of Cluedo.
First we thought Emilia Clark was the forgetful Mother of Dragons, then the blame was cast on Sophie Turner after a photo surfaced of her holding a Starbucks coffee.
But now the culprit has been revealed and he should be punished (but not in a legit Game of Thrones way because that would be illegal and highly unnecessary).
Catch up on the latest Fitzy & Wippa podcast:
Emilia spilt the tea on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon saying she discovered the real culprit recently at the Emmys.
"We had like a party before the Emmys recently, and Conleth Hill, who plays Varys, who’s sitting next to me in that scene, he pulls me aside and he’s like, 'Emilia, I’ve got to tell you something. I’ve got to tell you something, love. The coffee cup was mine!'"
"It was his! It was Conleth’s coffee cup. He said so!
"He’s like, 'I think so, I’m sorry, darling, I didn’t want to say anything because it seemed the heat was very much on you.'"
Well, would you look at that? Not surprised that Varys betrayed the Mother of Dragons... AGAIN.
No need to burn him alive again though. We're just happy the case is closed.
The network digitally removed the coffee cup from the scene following the backlash.
