You’re going to be seeing some big changes, soon.

Lisa Wilkinson is one of Australia’s most esteemed journalists and channel Nine is on a mission to have the legend, whose career spans over 30 years, recognised for her work in the industry.

According to reports by Confidential via, the team at the Network has kicked off a plan to have the presenter nominated for a Gold Logie.

“Nine’s promotions team have ensured that Lisa is the number one Nine talent in the public eyes during the voting period,” a source told Confidential.

“Everyone at Nine is on board to get Lisa the Gold.”

As the voting period approaches, we can expect to see Wilkinson on the cover of major magazines and reports state she'll partnerships with big names as an effort to keep the 57-year-old media personality front of mind.

Reportedly, the move comes as an attempt not only to get Wilkinson the recognition so many believe she deserves, but also to drive a push to have more women in the running for the top award in Aussie TV.

In the 2017 Logies ceremony, there was only one female personality nominated for the Gold award, Jessica Marais.

Wilkinson has co-hosted Nine’s breakfast television show, Today, with Karl Stefanovic for ten years. Stefanovic took home the Gold Logie back in 2011.
