Ariana Grande Reveals Why Her And Pete Davidson Broke Up And We're Crying

"I still don’t trust myself with the life stuff."

We spent weeks wondering why Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson split after just a few months of being engaged.

Neither of them wanted to openly share the goss, unsurprisingly.

Pete moved on with Kate Beckinsale, while Ariana poured her emotions of losing Mac Miller and her break up into her music.

But Ariana has opened up about the break up in an interview with Vogue:

"I met Pete and it was an amazing distraction.

"It was frivolous and fun and insane and highly unrealistic, and I loved him, and I didn’t know him.

"I’m like an infant when it comes to real life and this old soul, been-around-the-block-a-million-times artist.

"I still don’t trust myself with the life stuff."

We hear you Ari. She says the change of being single was something she needed to get used to:

"I’ve been boo’d up my entire adult life. I’ve always had someone to say goodnight to. So Thank U, Next was this moment of self-realisation.

"It was this scary moment of 'Wow, you have to face all this stuff now. No more distractions. You have to heal all this s***.'"

Ariana is the cover star of this month's Vogue along with the love of her life, her dog Toulouse.
