AFLW Star Tayla Harris Slams Trolls Following Photo Drama

"My hamstring is ok but..."

Imagine heading into work to do someone's taxes or research cases for your client and being utterly scrutinised by Internet trolls around the country. 

This is exactly what happened to Carlton Blues AFLW star Tayla Harris when Channel 7 uploaded an incredible shot of Harris kicking during her side’s final round match against the Western Bulldogs.

The photo attracted countless “inappropriate and offensive” comments towards Harris, so much that Channel 7 decided to remove the picture. 

But it was this decision that sparked even more controversy with fans of the game and stars around the country arguing it sent the wrong message to the haters.

Matildas star Sam Kerr insisted "the problem was not the photo":

Geelong vice-captain showed his support for AFLW with a simple hashtag, "#Fthehaters":

Unfortunately it will unlikely be the last time Internet trolls attempt to ruin a great thing, but Harris has ensured their vile comments will not destroy her, inspiring players of AFLW and women around the country:

Channel 7 has since reinstated the picture at 11.22pm with an apology and their post has nothing but praise for the star:
