Today Extra Co-Host Sonia Kruger Reportedly Moving To Channel Seven

What a coincidence that Big Brother is coming soon...

Sonia Kruger has reportedly left Channel Nine and has returned to her old home of Channel Seven, according to TV Blackbox and Daily Mail.

The Today Extra co-host has reportedly left Nine after agreeing to a “seven-figure” deal.

Daily Mail reports that Sonia was going to sign a new deal with Nine however a source close to the star told the Daily Mail that in the end Nine "couldn’t justify paying her what Seven was prepared to pay."

The report comes as auditions are underway for the reboot of Big Brother which will be on Seven. Fans of the show have been wondering who will host the new series.

Gretel Killeen hosted the original series from 2001 to 2007. In 2008 Big Brother returned for its eighth season with hosts Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O. The show was then cancelled but returned in 2012 but to Channel Nine with Sonia Kruger as the host.

So, Sonia's move to Seven could be a return to host Big Brother.

However, just last week the TV presenter Tweeted that The Voice would be returning next year.
