Justin Bieber has taken to Snapchat upon his arrival in Melbourne to ask his Aussie fans for respect while he's down under,

It was mixed emotions for the pop superstar when he arrived in Melbourne on Sunday, swapping between dutifully giving his waiting fans all the high fives and selfies they could want, but hours later, the Bieb was on Snapchat talking about the best way to approach him...

Justin talks to Smallzy about THAT Snapchat video. "I just want to be as normal as i possibly can... and i'm fighting it..."

"If I'm walking somewhere or arriving somewhere and you guys are asking me to take a photo, if I don't respond, if I continue to keep walking, the likelihood is that I probably don't want to take a photo at that moment.

"If you start screaming louder that's not going to make me take a photo more," he reminded fans.

A mix of car interior and scenery shots combined with his half-whispered voice over included instructions on how to best respect the singer, and what will improve your chances of getting that quick-fire selfie with the 21-year old singing star.

Biebs certainly seemed like he was inundated by adoring fans wherever he went in Melbourne over the weekend.

After checking into his city hotel, Biebs then went for a burger at  Nando’s in South Melbourne before heading to the beach on Beaconsfield Pde. He was also seen licking an ice cream and he shared this Instagram snap of himself showing off his skateboarding skills at Premier’s Office at 1 Treasury Place.

"I want to enjoy the moment like you're enjoying the moment but I can't enjoy it if I'm not feeling there's any respect given to me that moment," the singer continued.

"Usually the chances are I'll take a photo but if perhaps I don't, or I'm not in the mood to take a photo that moment, please just respect me and just treat me the way you want to be treated," he added.

Despite the rant, he had earlier thanked his Aussie fans for their welcoming reception. "Loving Australia. I’ve missed this place. Thanks for the welcome," he tweeted on Sunday morning.
